Thai Burma Border Project. 2011

Burma is ruled by a repressive military junta, which is persecuting its own people, particulary targeting the ethnic groups who live along the thai-burma border. Millions of people have been protected just by poor armies like KNUA, SSA-S who fight back the junta with guerrilla tactics. This dramatic conditions generates thousands of internally displaced people(IDP) and
hundreds of thousands of refugees in the camps along the Thai border, mainly around the town of Mae Sot.
